About me
BSocSci Psychology, MPsychotherapy and Counselling (Cand.) BA (Hons) Criminology, GradCert (Project Mgmt)
I’m a rare blend of social scientist, practitioner, and lived-experience guide in the realms of attraction, dating, relationships, and sexuality. My journey began in South Africa, where I majored in Psychology and Criminology and worked in social services with men, observing firsthand how disenfranchisement can ripple through relationships. Fascinated by the interplay between mind and connection, I specialised in the psychology of attraction, sexuality, and relationships. My work examines how mental health, trauma, and other life challenges intersect with intimacy and relational experiences, helping people understand the underlying forces that shape their connections.
I have collaborated with experts across the full spectrum of relationship and sexuality work, which has allowed me to specialise in a wide range of contemporary approaches. This includes traditional relationship structures, alternative models such as polyamory and kink-informed BDSM, ethical non-traditional relational philosophies, emerging somatic approaches to masculine and feminine energy, tantric practices, neuro-affirming frameworks, and men’s personal development spaces for attraction and relationships. By combining practical experience with psychological insight, I’ve developed a nuanced understanding of diverse relational landscapes.
Coaching
Through coaching, I help clients navigate attraction, dating, and relationship growth. I integrate science-backed relationship research, insights from relationship experts and sexologists, and a pluralistic blend of coaching methodologies. The goal is to equip clients with practical strategies, confidence, and self-awareness to build meaningful and fulfilling connections, whether in traditional or alternative relationship structures.
Whether through counselling or coaching, my approach combines insight, empathy, and actionable strategies, helping people navigate intimacy, relationships, and sexuality with authenticity and psychological clarity.
Private Counselling
In my counselling practice, I focus on the psychological and emotional dimensions of relationships and sexuality. I support clients in exploring how trauma, past experiences, and mental health influence intimacy and connection. Drawing on a broad spectrum of contemporary modalities, including CBT, DBT, ACT, existentialism, narrative therapy, and Gottman methodology, I tailor a structured, evidence-informed approach to meet each person’s unique needs, blending techniques as appropriate for their individual journey.
